Advantages of Using PPV Advertising in Marketing


Although PPV advertising may seem pretty easy to understand, the truth is that few people really appreciate the true length and breadth of its potential. Many feel that it is simply another type of PPC -- and that is decidedly not true. In fact, PPV trumps PPC advertising in many ways, and the only reason why it isn't more widely used is that only a few marketers knew how effective it was... until now!

Basically, the main advantage of PPV advertising is its network of potential customers. Granted, this would differ from PPV network to PPV network, but some of the biggest ones out there boast as many as 20 million users. So imagine this: You're reaching out to a pool of 20 million people who have all agreed to see advertisements.

When any keyword or website that you bid on is triggered by one of these 20 million people, your advertisement is going to be displayed for them to see. And it will be displayed directly, not just in the form of an advertisement, but in the form of a website, landing page, and so on. In itself, this means that you're going to have a lot more control over your advertising and the effect it can potentially have.

While providing access to a large base of users, PPV advertising has managed to remain a relatively cheap endeavor. Moreover, you're going to find that you have a lot less restrictions when using PPV advertising as very few PPV networks actually have the tons and tons of rules that PPC operators tend to have.

Seeing as PPV advertising is still relatively new, its future advantages remain to be seen. For now however, it presents a remarkable set of advantages that can be used by marketers to gain access to cheap and abundant traffic. Most marketers would, of course, jump at this kind of opportunity - which is probably why PPV advertising has seen an increase in users of late.

So long as you're willing to invest a little bit and learn the ropes of PPV advertising, you'll soon find that the returns you obtain are more than worth whatever you've put in.
